The Quadpay Juneteenth Fund
Juneteenth is a holiday to mark the issuing of General Order No. 3 on June 19th, 1865. This order, which came after more than two years following the Emancipation Proclamation, brought news of the end of slavery to the state of Texas. Since then, Juneteenth, also known as Jubilee and Emancipation Day, has become a chance to appreciate the culture and contributions of African-Americans as well as a time to reflect on the issues and injustices that African-Americans face to this day.
To this end, Quadpay welcomes our employees to take this time to donate to one or more of the worthy causes below that seek to empower African-American communities socially, economically, and politically.
