The organizations in this fund are giving their all for this cause. With your donation we can increase the effectiveness and provide even more resources with the ASML matching program so that these organization can do more good work. Especially now with the far right governments, sustainability really needs you support in this. I am running the 2025 New York Marathon and have committed to raise $3,000 for "Team For Kids" – the marathon's official charity partner, sponsoring youth and community services in New York City. Since 2002, TFK has raised $100 million in support of Rising New York Road Runners, providing free running and fitness programs for kids ages 2-18 across all 5 boroughs. With a range of free training programs and competitive races, TFK helps build motivation and life skills for NYC children and teens. I'm really passionate about fitness and running and am excited to be racing on this team – I would really be grateful for your support!

A campaign to give to Rebuilding Together. The funds go to national efforts to rebuild homes affected by recent hurricanes. This effort will also give to the White Center Food Bank and Sow Therapeutics. These both address food insecurity. Finally, Tacoma YFC is an organization that supports youth from ages 11-19. They are located in the publics schools, as well as Remann Hall. They meet students where they are, tutoring, mentoring, and helping with life circumstances, such as teen parenting.

CORE HR is excited to host a virtual donation campaign to support one of FORgood’s three chosen pillars of giving – food security. This initiative aims to eliminate hunger, support sustainable agricultural practices, and ensure that every community member has access to nutritious and consistent food sources through several partner charities, including Rise Against Hunger, World Food Program USA, No Kid Hungry, Meals on Wheels, Heifer International, and Action Against Hunger.

There is a place not far from Krakow where amazing woman Wioletta Litwin-Mroczka is trying to figure out how to feed all rescued animals which she's taking care of, and how to survive winter. There is plenty of cats, dogs, horses and even some goats. It doesn't matter how much you will donate, every person counts and if you share this event maybe they will be able to win some more money to feed all the kittens and puppies they have! We have created this fund to donate to the recent Spanish flood where more than 200 people lost their lives and thousands of them all their belongings.

Spain has been devastated by the weather phenomenon known as DANA and the death toll continues to rise. Spain is in need of immediate support and long term support to recover from these catastrophic flash floods that have inundated large parts of the country. This fund highlights a handful of charities that are providing immediate relief in affected regions and will offer longer term support as cities and people heal and rebuild.

Progressive Kids Foundation School - A Tuition Free School helping kids from low income families in the Pipeline Old field Community, Liberia. Our goal is to keep the children in school and away from the drugs, play and selling in the market. We started with 25 kids as study class and grown to 320 kids with in one year time. Due to the hard time, many poor parents let their child or children to stay home because they do not have money to pay their school fees. So we came in to help them and we too need help to take this school running. We want to build a small center that will educate the kids and train their parents will life skills too. $20 provides a desk for a student $40 provides two uniform set $100 provide a teacher's monthly allowance $800 furnishes a classroom $6,000 builds a kitchen area from which the children and staff could be fed $10, 000 builds a classroom

At the end of October 2024, Spain's Valencia region was hit by severe flash floods, with relentless rains sweeping through cities, towns and rural areas alike. In some areas a year's worth of rain poured in a single day which led to terrible consequences for locals and infrastructures. These conditions have left several areas completely isolated, with no access to electricity, gas or clean water. Torrential rains have cut off entire communities making it difficult for families to receive essential supplies and emergency care. Roads are blocked, power lines are down, and emergency response services are overwhelmed by the attention needed. The lack of access to basic utilities is putting vulnerable populations at high risk, especially the elderly and children.

This flood caused by the storm La DANA is one of the deadliest weather events in modern Spanish history. Valencia is still recovering from the catastrophic floods that have killed more than 200 people and devastating entire communities. While Valencia works to recover from this immense tragedy, many areas remain in critical need of support, particularly food and basic necessities for those affected. With the storm ongoing and other regions still at risk of flooding, the immediate focus must be on locating those still missing and providing essential assistance to those displaced. The coming days will be crucial in coordinating relief efforts for those whose lives have been upended.

Jerry Ray Woods Jr., 53 years old of Clifton Park, NY, passed away on October 29, 2024. Born in 1971 in Stow, OH to Louise and Jerry Woods. He was a devoted husband to Dione Woods and a loving father to Samantha and Brianna Woods. Jerry was hard-working and dedicated. He spent 30 years working as an electrical engineer for ASML, where he was known for his leadership and dependability. Throughout his time at ASML, Jerry made lifelong friends who would describe him as the kind of person who took care of others and made everyone feel comfortable. Jerry was the kind of friend who noticed the little things and went out of his way to make sure his friends and family were taken care of. He always made time for his family and his passions, despite his many responsibilities. Though Jerry may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He was a man of integrity and kindness, who always knew how to make everyone smile. Jerry left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Jerry's hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed everything from camping, fishing, biking and hunting to running, cooking and playing golf. Some of the most memorable vacations were spent in the Outer Banks with his family and dearest friends. As his children grew older and played sports, he was dedicated and committed in supporting them by either coaching, volunteering his time, or just being a spectator. He loved watching them swim and play softball or volleyball. From a young age, Jerry was an unwavering fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Saturdays were spent watching them play. If you knew Jerry, he was a foodie and beer connoisseur. A typical weekend involved Jerry cooking or smoking food on the grill for his closest family and friends. He loved meeting up with his running group, The Clifton Park Beer Runners, and enjoying a beer at The Other One. His love for cooking was something he shared with his friends and family, leaving a mark on us that will never fade. He is survived by his spouse Dione Woods, his children Samantha and Brianna Woods, his parents Louise and Jerry Woods, his sister Angela Burgess, his nieces and nephews Shelby and Kyle Burgess, Amanda Smith, Katherine Huffman, Tyler Driver, Cassidy Wallace, and Gregory Wallace, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly. A period of visitation will take place at St. Edward the Confessor on Monday, November 4, 2024 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon, immediately followed by funeral mass at 12:00 noon. We find comfort in knowing that Dad's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever. In lieu of flowers please send donations in Jerry's name to NF Northeast. We have chosen this foundation in honor of Natalia to support her and her family in the fight against cancer. Natalia is 4 years old and is a Clifton Park resident. She is currently undergoing chemo for a brain tumor which is a complication of her NF1 diagnosis. Neurofibromatosis (NF) is the most common genetic disorder caused by a single gene and affects three times as many people as Muscular Dystrophy, Huntington's Disease, Tay-Sachs and Cystic Fibrosis combined. At NF Northeast, our vision is a world where the burden of NF does not exist.
